I am such a lucky little being to have been present at one of his performances recently at The Haunt - Brighton (Saw him the same night I saw The Mispers in my previous post). His performance was incredibly moving and almost tearful for me, it really moved me. Foster has such a distinctive and angelic voice that I have not stopped listening to him since I saw his performance. The soul and energy he put into it was just pure bliss and I remember that there was not a utter of sound in the room whilst he was singing, everybody was just so focused on him it was really quite inspiring. I do love a good acoustic/guitar artist with mainly folk vocals, and Marcus Foster is exactly that! Many of his songs do spark a lot of sad and nostalgic emotion (be aware), but do not let that put you off! He is really something, an incredibly talented individual.
